T4T - Training for Trainers
A Strategy for Fulfilling the Great Commission
What is T4T?
T4T (Training for Trainers) is a sustainable discipleship movement where a person who has been trained, trains others, and those disciples in turn make new disciples. While traditional church growth is linear, T4T aims for exponential growth.
A church of 100 believers grows by 20% annually
Year 2: 144 people
Year 3: 172 people
100 believers are reorganized into 10 house churches, doubling every 3-6 months

The 4 Stages of Training (4 Fields)
Based on biblical principles, the training is divided into four stages to systematically raise disciples.

The 3 Elements of Training
Look Up
Ask God questions, pray, and wait for answers. Pray to know who He wants you to meet and where He wants you to go.
Look In
Check your life for obedience to the Word. Apply what you've learned to your life and be a role model by spreading the gospel.
Look Out
Seek the people and places God has prepared. Share the gospel, make disciples, and plant small groups.
The Principles of the Great Commission
① Go
We must go into the world to find the lost. There are only two kinds of people in the world: the saved and the lost.
② Make Disciples
The core of T4T is not just to make believers, but to train trainers. As Paul told Timothy, "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others" (2 Tim 2:2). We must raise disciples to become trainers.
③ Baptizing
Baptism is not just a ritual but a public proclamation of our faith. We must tell the world that our sins were crucified with Jesus and that we rose again with Him.
④ Teaching Them to Obey
This is not just teaching knowledge, but teaching obedience. Without obedience, there is no fruit. We must teach and practice the seven commands of Jesus in our lives (Repent and Believe, Be Baptized, Pray, Make Disciples, Love One Another, The Lord's Supper, Give).
Evangelism Strategy
1. Who to Share the Gospel With?
Use the 'FRAN' principle to list people around you.
- F: Friends
- R: Relatives
- A: Associates
- N: Neighbors
Pray for them and ask for their hearts to be opened.
2. What to Say?
Prepare a 3-5 minute 'My Story' and 'God's Story' to share.

Explain the problem of sin and the way to salvation through the book of Romans (Rom 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, 10:13).
Church and Leadership
The 5 Functions of the Church
- Worship: The expression of love towards God
- Fellowship: Encouraging and practicing love for one another
- Ministry: Service to one another
- Mission: Spreading the gospel and baptizing
- Teaching: Training to obey the commands of Christ
Training Leaders
Train trainers according to the '4 fields'.
- Entry Strategist: A person who paves the way through prayer and service
- Evangelist: A person who spreads the gospel and saves souls
- Disciple Maker: A person who cares for new believers
- Church Planter: A person who plants new churches through obedience and dedication
Daily Devotion and Being Filled with the Holy Spirit
Daily Devotion (Quiet Time)
Fellowship with God is achieved through prayer and meditation on the Word.
Psalm 42:1-2: "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Being filled with the Holy Spirit is received through repentance and faith.
Acts 2:38: "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"
